THE REASON FOR THE COPYRIGHT NOTICE IN THE FOOTER
The search engine has a very simple design. Google is written in large letters at the beginning and the search field is displayed below it. When Google was still in its infancy, they tested people using the search engine to search for something. It was noticed that the users sat in front of the computer, and did not make any input into the search field. When the users were asked why they did not make any input, they answered that they were waiting for the page to load completely.
As a result, Google expanded its home page with the footer that contained the copyright notice.
