WHAT IS A PARADOX?

WHAT IS A PARADOX?

Do you know what a paradox is? It's one of those things that can seem confusing but is actually really cool! A paradox is a statement or situation that appears to be contradictory but may actually be true. For example, "the more I learn, the more I realize I don't know." This statement seems to be impossible because if you're learning more, you should know more. But it's actually true because the more you learn, the more you realize how much more there is to learn.

Another example of a paradox is "less is more." This phrase refers to the idea that having less can actually be better than having more. This can be seen in many areas of life, such as with possessions, relationships, and even time. Paradoxes can also be seen in literature. For example, in the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Alice finds herself in a strange world where things are often contradictory and upside down. This is a great example of a paradoxical situation.

So the next time you come across something that seems impossible, take a closer look – it just might be a paradox!
